October 2025 we welcomed a baby Juice into our herd. Ya know, one of those situations that just falls in to place? Friend makes fb post about going to a farm you admire CLEAR across the country, and when you look at farms page, this face pops up… and you just can’t. So you message farm owner and ask for the price tag, FULLY expecting him to be out of your price range. So, what do you do when the owner comes back with a price tag a 1/4 of what you were expecting… well, you just buy the kid.

I was SO excited to add him to our herd, that I went ahead and put 2 of my smaller jr does (that I had planned on freshening in 2027 because they were born later in the spring) and then threw in another. Was he old and big enough to get the job done? I guess we will see end of May/beginning of June 2026!! Rayo was added as a clean up buck, but to also buddy up with Juice to make the transition out of the barn to the jr buck pen.

Fingers crossed for Juice babies this summer!!!
