ADGA PERFORMANCE PROGRAM INCENTIVE

At The Bad Habit Barn, we believe one of the best ways to evaluate a breeding program is to participate in programs that provide meaningful, objective information about the animals we produce.

For that reason, we strongly encourage purchasers of eligible Bad Habit Barn animals to participate in ADGA Performance Programs, including Linear Appraisal, DHIR/Milk Testing, and ADGA-sanctioned shows.

We appreciate owners who invest the time, effort, and expense required to put Bad Habit Barn genetics to the test, and we would like to reward that participation.

HOW INCENTIVES ARE AWARDED

Performance incentives are issued as credit toward a future animal purchased directly from The Bad Habit Barn and have no cash value.

Unless otherwise stated, credits may be accumulated and combined.

The animal must carry The Bad Habit Barn herd name and have been bred by The Bad Habit Barn to qualify.

The owner must provide documentation of the applicable official ADGA result or accomplishment.

Any awards, scores, records, or accomplishments must be earned while the animal is owned by the purchaser claiming the incentive unless otherwise approved by The Bad Habit Barn.

Credits are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.

The Bad Habit Barn reserves the right to modify or discontinue this incentive program for future accomplishments. Any credit already earned and confirmed will be honored according to the terms in effect when it was earned.

WHY WE OFFER IT

We don’t want our animals to disappear into a pasture and never hear from them again.

Linear Appraisal, milk testing, and showing give us valuable information about the strengths—and weaknesses—of the genetics we are producing. That information helps us make better breeding decisions and ultimately produce better Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats.

So if you’re willing to put a Bad Habit Barn animal out there and let the numbers, the milk pail, or the judge tell us what we’ve produced, we want to reward you for it.
